MicroStrategy also won over 2%. Levi Strauss – Denim Apparel stocks rose 10% after quarter results exceeded expectations. Levi Strauss reported an adjusted earnings per share of 22 cents with revenue of $1.45 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG were looking for 13 cents per share and $1.37 billion. The company also increased its dividends and raised year-round guidance on some key metrics. BP – BP’s US list shares rose 3% after Energy Giant said its second quarter results in its oil trading division were strong and the company expects higher upstream production to support its US operations. AMC Entertainment – The cinema chain has 8% popped after Wedbush upgraded its inventory from neutral to outperform. The Wall Street company said AMC is ready to benefit from a more consistent release slate over the next few quarters. Wedbush also noted that the company has completed what could be its last major share issue in the near future, with a major headwind behind it. Canada Stocks – Ishhales MSCI Canada ETF (EWC) fell 0.7% after President Donald Trump announced a 35% tariff on Canadian imports to Canada-based TD Bank. Performance Food Group – Shares rose 8% after Bloomberg News reported. Citing people familiar with the issue, he says that US Food is considering buying food distributors. Aerovironment, Kratos Defense & Security – Aerovironment and Kratos stocks won 9.5% and 10.7%, respectively. Sunrun – As the week of volatile, solar stock has dropped by more than 6%. Sunrun on Tuesday fell by more than 11%, earning consecutive profits on Wednesday and Thursday. Pricesmart – Warehouse Club, specializing in developing markets, rose more than 5% after a consensus estimate of $1.14, earnings per share in the third quarter, according to FactSet.
