How did you get started in the real estate industry?
I started my real estate career over 22 years ago. It was driven by a deep passion for home and a desire to help people find spaces that truly resonate with their lifestyles and goals. For me, a house is more than just an asset. It’s where life unfolds, memories are made and dreams take root.
Guiding my clients (many of whom have become close friends) to find the perfect place to call home is incredibly rewarding.
What do you wish more people knew about working in real estate?
I want more people to understand how much time and effort real estate really takes. This is not your typical 9-5 job. Success means being available whenever a client or deal needs your attention, whether it’s on the weekends, at night, or when something comes up.
Personally, I always try to sit in on my own open houses because my clients trust me to be their real estate agent and I take that seriously. Every client has unique needs and challenges, so working in real estate requires a lot of patience, empathy, and really listening to people, even after hours.
Please tell us about the high point of your career.
A major high point in my career was building a long-term partnership with developer Yaniv Nehemiah. He became more than just a client, he became a close friend and business partner. It all started with one new construction project in the Pacific Palisades, and since then we’ve successfully completed more than a dozen projects together.
Most recently, Pacific Palisades set a new sales record of $32.8 million in 2024, pushing the region’s luxury market into the price range typically found in Beverly Hills or Malibu. I am currently working on six more new construction projects with Yaniv. I am also with GME Development and my relationship with Guy Grimberg, the first builder I worked with over a decade ago, has come full circle.
Guy and I are listing another ocean view home in the Pacific Palisades for a record-breaking price. It is incredibly rewarding to be part of such a groundbreaking transaction and relationship at such a pivotal time for the luxury goods market.
What are your biggest predictions for 2025?
My biggest prediction for 2025 is that new construction prices in Pacific Palisades will be at a record. Buyers from upscale areas like Beverly Hills and Bel-Air are moving to the Palisades, drawn by its small-town charm, upscale amenities, and proximity to the beach.
This demand is driving up prices, especially for new construction, and we’re seeing changes that position the Palisades to rival luxury markets like Malibu and Beverly Hills.
What is your top tip for newly licensed agents?
Join the team. I didn’t do this when I started, but looking back, I know it would have accelerated my career tremendously.
When you become part of our team, you’ll have access to important resources like marketing support, branding opportunities, and valuable open house experiences. Additionally, if you are a beginner, it is very important to have a mentor to guide you and answer your questions. With the right team, you can build a strong foundation much faster than working alone.
What makes a good leader?
I believe it is a combination of perseverance, a fun and approachable personality, and a deep understanding of the real estate market that makes me a strong leader. I truly enjoy sharing my expertise and helping others grow their careers, especially when it comes to new construction.
Our extensive knowledge of different regions in Los Angeles allows us to guide our clients and team members in making informed decisions. Additionally, our large client network and extensive experience across various aspects of real estate allow us to provide valuable insight.
At the end of the day, I have a passion for seeing others succeed and consider that to be the true driver of my leadership style.
