On November 17, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Education Through Education will once again bring an end to hate. This traveling Holocaust classroom, which has been rolling through Palm Beach County schools since September 9, is a unique educational tool.
Set inside a replica World War II cattle car with video on all four walls for a 360° effect, this immersive exhibit helps bring history to life. The event is free and open to the public. The Traveling Holocaust Classroom is organized by the Florida Department of Education, Feld Alpert and Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Services of Palm Beach County, Ruth and Norman Lares Jewish Family Services, and the Palm Beach Center to Combat Anti-Semitism and Hatred. , the June Hirsch Jones Foundation, and Jewish organizations. The opening fundraiser for Education’s 15th Anniversary Season, Insight in Action will be the talk of best-selling author Mitch Albom about his latest book, The Little Liar, a story about the harm we deceive, and how love overcomes our greatest tragedies. Features a discussion of the power of. situation and redeem us in the end. This event celebrates Insight’s initiatives and growing impact in the community. The program will be held at Temple Emanuel in Palm Beach on December 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., and will include honorary chairs Judy and David Karp, event chairs Julie and David Buckner, Carolyn and Michael, and others critical to success. On March 17, 2025, Insight Sulide Education will hold its 15th anniversary spring fundraiser, Runway Insights, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Attendees at this fundraising event will learn more about Insight’s mission and support its cause while exploring fashion, eating lunch, and engaging in card play. Sponsorships are currently available.
The Palm Beach Center for Combating Anti-Semitism and Hatred, in collaboration with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, will serve as a community partner and present sponsors for the 15th anniversary season of events for insight through education.
