FEASTERVILLE TREVOSE, Pa. — Former President Donald Trump made national headlines last weekend when he activated a french fry machine at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, but since then, everyone has been blaming it. It’s clear that I don’t like it.

Three law enforcement officers visited the Bucks County franchise Wednesday afternoon to keep an eye out for anyone attempting to harm Golden Arches or its full-time employees.
One of the officers told the Post that they were posted there as a precaution after a group of unruly customers caused a disturbance around 3pm on Tuesday.

He said the incident was ultimately resolved peacefully, but other credible threats against fast food restaurants have been made since Trump’s visit.
Inside the restaurant Wednesday, politics dominated lunchtime conversations between tables of locals.
Two older men playfully debated the extent to which illegal immigrants are responsible for violent crimes against American citizens.
A conservative Trump supporter at the table accused his friend of being misinformed by liberal networks seeking to downplay the issue.
“Where did you hear that? Charlie, where do you get your news?” the man asked.
“Oh, CNN,” Charlie replied.
“The case is solved. It’s fake news,” a pro-Trump friend shot back, drawing laughter from his diners.
“I’m sorry to hear this!” another woman at their table told the Post.

Comments on the restaurant’s Yelp page were temporarily disabled after a user posted a one-star review.
“The fries were salty, like someone who lost a major election cried over their fries for an hour,” one reviewer posted on Monday.
“The person in the drive-thru somehow resembled someone I saw on the news as a convicted felon,” another wrote.
Other commenters were more kind to the former president, even declaring that his visit made McDonald’s “great again.”
One reviewer said, “This was the best McDonald’s I’ve been to in 47 years. The older employees were very kind.” “Let’s make McDonald’s great again! Bring back the dollar menu!”

McDonald’s released a statement after President Trump’s visit confirming that it welcomes everyone regardless of political affiliation, but has not commented on the situation since then.
