MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 25, 2024 (Globe Newswire) — HII (NYSE: HII) announced the consolidation of its six Mission Technologies business groups into four. The changes are aimed at optimizing the division for continued long-term growth.
Effective Monday, October 28th, departments will be reorganized into the following groups:
Operation Old Domain, led by Todd Gentry, is comprised of C5ISR operations. Platform and logistics support. and intelligence analysis.
Global Security, led by Michael Lempke, consists of Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) solutions. Fleet maintenance. Nuclear and Environmental Services. and Australian business.
Warfare Systems, led by Grant Hagen, consists of cyber and mission IT. electronic warfare. and C5ISR system.
Led by Duane Fotheringham, Uncrewed Systems consists of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and autonomy software.
Mission Technologies will also align four groups around a common operating model with specialized roles: Operations Leader, Growth Leader, Portfolio Leader, and Quality Leader.

Mission Technologies reported 2023 revenue of $2.7 billion. This was a 13% increase in organic growth compared to 2022. In the first half of 2024, the segment’s revenue was $1.5 billion, with organic growth increasing 19% compared to the same period in 2023. Third quarter financial results are scheduled to be announced on October 31st.
