BERKELEY, Calif. — Berkeley Repertory Theater will host the 2024 California Educational Theater Association Conference from October 24-27.
The event will include workshops, guest speakers, and discussions aimed at advancing theater education across the state.
“Berkeley Representative is proud to partner with CETA to host this year’s CETA Conference, which celebrates innovation, creativity, and arts advocacy with theater educators from across California,” said Anthony, director of Berkeley Representative School of Drama. Jackson said. “After more than 20 years of serving schools and the educational community, Berkeley Rep School of Drama is especially excited to revitalize our campus, welcome new thought partners to our community, and explore the future of theater education in our great state. ”
Berkeley Representative Artistic Director Johanna Pfelzer will deliver the keynote address, and noted director Mary Zimmerman will receive the Visionary Award for her contributions to theater education.
CETA President Gail Caswell praised the collaboration with Berkeley representatives and highlighted the event’s role in inspiring theater educators.
